I've been using a paid Manageflitter account to hit my goal of making it to 100k Followers.
I started to track my process in Jan. I needed roughly 78k to hit the goal.
I contacted Manageflitter support and they said Twitter will tend to do this at times and they I may have to just not perform any follow or unfollow actions for a few days. The also recommended that I do all of my follows at the same time each day.
To work against the restrictions I've been asking the non-followers to follow me back but this is way too time consuming.
100k may be out of reach by December 31 unless I find some other strategies.
I'll keep the thread going to update you on my progress
I started to track my process in Jan. I needed roughly 78k to hit the goal.
- I slowly increased following per day
- Then in March I increased following per day on average 460 - 500 (Often I'd max between 600-900 follows with no problem)
- I was moving along from March until the end May fine and then I started to get hit with API restrictions.
- Twitter was only allowing me to follow roughly 300 on average
- I thought I faked out the API because I'm using IMacros and I have coded a random click interval of between 15 - 18 seconds. (I've been using this the whole time)
- Added not my follow back ration is 35% but when I'm really in my niche I can get like a little over 40%
