Xbox 360 - worth to buy?

I'm considering buying an Xbox 360 console. I never had any gaming console, played recently like 5 years ago on PC games like NHL, Pro Evolution Soccer, Trackmania (online) and so on.

What is your experience about this console and gaming on it? Would you recommend it to me? It's good for playing [similar games as above] online?

I wouldn't purchase Xbox 360. Either a good gaming PC and connect to TV or PS4/Xbox One.
I would suggest purchasing Xbox One or PS4. A lot of great offers recently.
Xbox One is being sold for $300 on eBay and PS4 for $350.

I am always curious now too, but how long before Microsoft stops supporting the 360 console online? or is not that a possibility?

I'm a PC gamer myself, but I bought myself a 360 at the end of last year. I still play all the time. It's great fun with a few good titles:

Fifa 15
GTA 5
Halo (any of them)
Guitar Hero (any of them)

I'd definitely recommend still getting one.

I'd say get Xbone. There's rumors of Xbox Live stopping support for it in a couple years, like they did with the first Xbox.

Actually, the reason why I'd prefer to buy an Xbox 360 is the price (I have the opportunity to get one for something slightly over $100 + the game PES 2015 is for $20 on Xbox Marketplace) and the fact that I'll be able to play just for a month (I'll be after a surgery), then I'll [probably] sell it.

Btw, any recommendation for some [cheap] games?
For example, something like Trackmania for xbox (https://www.google.cz/search?q=trac...l5.1896j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=91&ie=UTF-8) or a "jumping game" like Crash Bandicoot (http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/P...f-Cortex/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802565507f2 - this game is quite old, so the graphics looks a bit old-school).

Do you have an experience with playing online? I'd like to buy Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 online (possibly some tournaments) - any tips for that/how does it work (do I need only the game + Xbox Gold Live account)?

Yeah exactly. It's a monthly subscription, and you'll have access to all online games and game modes, as long as you're subscribed.

ide go with ps3 there cheap enough these days, no monthly fees
and 2nd hand games are dirt cheap

You should buy a Play Station 4, it is not so expensive, fun to play, in one word a great console
