How to get affiliate with Amazon.com

I want to be an affiliate of Amazon.com Program to make some extra money. I plant to build websites to promote Amazon products and get commission.

Can you please guide me briefly, the procedure and practical step required to get approved by Amazon.

Nothing much, You just need a website with 10 to 15 high quality articles and with good theme. Apply for amazon and get approved.

It's very easy.. just go to Amazon affiliate site (google it) and sign up for free =)

There are tons of threads on here explaining how. Follow WhitePassion's Amazon journey, I know that it was that thread that got me started. In terms of approval, you need to generate a sale within 60 days to get approved. My tip for you would be to put up a simple site with a few articles, apply here and try to market the site via social media for a few days to generate that sale.

Or, you could just start and adding content and expanding the site. It's not a problem if you don't get a sale within 60 days, just re-apply, that's what I did atleast.

In my opinion it is better to build your first site yourself. You can for sure outsource the article writing but it is good to get a hold of how you do it at first. Also, nobody is going to give you a niche but a general niche I usually find low competition keywords in are parenting & fitness - new "inventions" all the time it seems. For example "shake weight" like... wtf.

You will need a website before you will be FULLY accepted into the amazon program. If I were you, i will be concern about ranking the amazon site.

There are a lot of details on this forum. Explore it.

P.S. Don't just build copy and paste website, filled with amazon product reviews, you will not be accepted. IMO though.

When I applied, I waited few days for approval and there were no sale in 60 days rule.

Hey, if you are just a beginner I recommend that you visit Amazon Affiliate Club. You will get step-by-step guides for setting up your store and become successful with Amazon. Good luck!))

I suggest you first you should create your site with more niche unique and high quality images. To get an idea please visit more product selling sites how they built. You try to be more special to reveal about your product by social media and use more other ways to publish and sell the products. My thing is you should follow new way to establish and attract people to sell. Then you will be affiliate with amazon for long and mainly you can earn more money.
