Hinting users to click ads to support website ?

Hey Guys,

All ad companies (adsense etc.) have this policy that you can't tell users to click your ads to support you is there any way to hint this without the ad provider banning me ?

Play safe with adsense.. DON'T take risk!

No, however a good ctr will get your more clicks than that, put some nice large ad boxes above the fold ontop of your content.

Here's another tip: Image ads get more clicks than text ones, but the cpc tends to be lower, so you should test using image ads as well because sometimes the greater number of clicks earns you more even though you get paid less per click.

Perhaps try using firefox/Different Browser?

Refresh the Page?

Maybe You Can't Sign Up To Adsense In Your Country?

Disconnect and Reconnect To The Internet?

Try Again Later?

Using Firefox from the netherlands, tried refreshing.
Weird IE does work

Heard some nightmare stories from blackhat CPCers who had their accounts banned, and still can't sign up.

Long story short - don't mess with Adsense.

Mess with the rest of Google instead

I have told people to click on ads , and google could not do anything about it.. I promoted the site in a newspaper and told plainly in the newspaper to click on ads to support the site
Obviously i had other traffic also, that took the CTR down.. But i stopped doing ot partly because i was paranoid and didnt like the idea of fraud/screwing advertisers.

THIS i can say is pretty NICE thing !!! I swear ! thing is what happens if one of their dumb secretary reading the paper ?

Exactly...I got paranoid. I was new in IM and I was dumb enough to advertise in National Newspaper

But if I was to do it again, I would do it in smaller newspapers.

I'd stay away from this. Could get your adsense account banned which really is not a good thing

You can increase your adsense click through rate by testing different formats and page positions

Also just have some good information on your site
