please i have got a quick question about PBN domain.
i have a dropped domain i currently got but on using wayback machine i noticed the domain had been purchased earlier by a Chinese firm that had to do with implants(tooth implant).
i was wondering if it was safe to use the domain for an actual PBN and i have already checked the link profile and i noticed there aren't any spammy links to the domain... what do you all advise?

If the content was at least slightly related to your niche and the links are clean don't hesitate to use it as a main part of your PBN.

If the content is not related at all but the links are still clean you could "recycle" the link by pointing it to some other sites that link back to your money site.

Personally I would just use it, maybe not 301 it but link back to your site or definitely at least to other sites in your PBN if not directly to money site.

If you put up content that is related to your niche and leave it a while before linking back to your money site then G should recognise that the content of the site is now related and treat the link as such.

I would use it as long as it doesn't have any spammy backlinks and it ranks for it's domain name (sign that there is no penalty imposed on it).

Thanks for pointing that out for me(301) maybe i could just do a 301 to my main domain... though the domain has been hanging around for sometime before i registered so i guess that explains why i can directly find it on google but i did find other related profiles to the domain.

I would not use it. I only buy expired domains of non-commercial sites with no drop before because google loves them and they work like a charm. If you already have it use it but for the future I would stay away from domains with questionable history.

If a site is dropped, how could you tell if it ranks?

most dropped domains are deindexed so you cant use that method. Check backlinks and anchors + history. If it looks like creepy SEO stay away. Its not worth to spend the time and effort to build a good PBN
