Reddit is indeed hard to crack but it works if you know what you are doing.
One of the best traffic sources you can get is from communities. So if you targeted some, it will work out good.
Now as for an automated software, nothing's perfect. It can work out for while and then BANG, the hammer comes down.

Can you provide a link please? I dont need anything large scale, ive been searching through the forums and havent seen a free reddit bot yet.
Also a lot of people on raptr & steam like my videos (all legitimate people) but redditors just down vote because they think it's my content (which is is) and im pretty sure they have jealousy issues. The problem is while my videos are widely popular on steam and raptr their views do not count towards youtube views. I' just created a youtube channel and im trying to boost my traffic to get my channel seen by as many as possible and so far reddit gives the most traffic by far, most of them are just a holes.

Why don't their views not count to youtube views? Aren't you embedding the video or even linking to the youtube video?

I dont use a bot but if a bot upvoted the targeted users posts then either in between or after those upvoted it upvoted and downvoted other peoples posts in an unrelated niche subreddit it wouldnt get banned. Thats pretty much what I do manually. I have 20 accounts that upvote my post then I go to a different subreddit I dont like and randomly upvote and down vote some posts on the first 2 pages. I also only post my content once a week.
I started doing that because there was always that duchebag that downvoted my post right after I posted so it would immediately disappear. After I started manually upvoting from different accounts using VPNS I would let redditors decide if they liked them or not. Usually after that it would get a lot more upvotes and only a few downvotes.
I found that most redditors have attention whore problems (as in they are attention whores) and if youre posting about a person other than them they get butt hurt and downvote really fast but if you post about an object then they are all fine and dandy about it.

uh, yeah, no.
especially in political subs like /r/politics or /r/worldnews
anything right wing (even rational comment that is completely sane) gets downvoted to hell, just for being rightwing.
