Does this method sound feasible?

I have over 3 years eBay experience so I'm writing an e-book to put onto the kindle store. But I was thinking of going onto click bank and being an affiliate for a WordPress plugin. Could I include a chapter about using site traffic to an advantage with my affiliate link to the plugin. I'm open to suggestions!

In the chapter where I talk about using websites to drive traffic to your eBay. I would say "Hey! I used plugin XYZ!". So any readers who have website would consider buying the product.

That jogged a thought! I could say "Improve your Photoshop skills!" and link those cheap guides which give you small commission but have high conversion rates.
