1k for fb group?

Hi there,

There's a fb buy and sell group, which has around 70k members growing at around 1k per week.

Interaction is high with new posts every 2-5 min from members(all real members) again interaction with these new posts are equally as high.

The home banner is generating around 40-50 per month

I can only see a value of 250-500 euro, however the owner is looking for something around the 1k mark?

What do you guys think its worth?

That would depend entirely on the niche of the group and the demographics of the members.
If for example the niche is highly lucrative and members are from top tier countries then 1k isn't too far-fetched.

i also own a 100k members fb group. How your group generating 40-50 per month.? care to share?can you share your secret?. I think your group worth is 100-200 if users are from 3rd tier countries. IF you have members from usa country then maybe its worth 300$. I purchased one group with indian users (104k members) for 160$

I dont think facebook groups worth too much, but sure that depends on niche and where member are from.

All members are from Ireland, and the 40-50 is generated from selling advertising spots on the facebook banner and pinned post.

I wouldn't pay more than $300-400 for this group.
If you are willing to invest $1k in a group (any niche), spend these money on fb ads!

Mmm.. see it gets a little bit more interesting in that I have a classified site within that niche, it could make a great funnel.

However 1k seems steep, I was thinking 500 max
