How to technically sell a site

Hello BHW!

Thanks to this community i've learned how to setup a site and gain some dollars with ( Euros in my case )

When i started i didn't plan to create a site to sell in the future but now, thanks to what i've learnt, i wanna start a new project and i'm thinking of sell my previous site in the next months but..

I didn't know how to sell a site technically !

What about the hosting ? The domain ? All the things related to the website like emails ecc.. ?

I want to sell my site like package site + domain + hosting.
My earnings are 40-60 Euros/ Months and my site has 5 months of life. I'm thinking to make a new thread in the future with some info/statistic of my site to receive some ideas on his value but before..

I need to know how to sell it technically!

I've made some researches and i've found only confusing information in Italian...i trust more in BHW!

You are not selling your hosting,because that one is with your payment and other informations.

You are selling only the domain and the website.

You backup the website through FTP,than you backup the database from your CPanel through phpadmin.
When u sell the website,you transfer the files to the buyer.Transfer or push the domain and you are set.
As for payment better to use escrow.

The transfer of the domain is set up by the company where i've the domain right ?

Just go to the site where you hosted your site.Then contact the staff and pay commission to the assistant and you are ready to go.Just tell the price you want to sell your domain at and pay 5% of that to assistant and you are done:captain:

I'm a Flippa super seller, i've been selling starter sites for more than a year now.
Things you need to do to sell your site on Flippa,
Ensure that you have a good sales copy, sales page (Give them all the money making opportunities and growth that your site is expecting to have in months or years to come)
Provide the analytics ( adsense earnings and google analytics data, expenses)
Answer all questions promptly after listing
Spam your comments section with more opportunities and daily stats
Ask Flippa admin if they can verify your identity so the buyers can trust you easily.
Do all of these and you will get 10 to 12x your monthly earnings worth.

I am also selling my site on flippa but nobody is bidding it, i provided everything, verified analytics, revenue screen shot, keyword ranking.

only got 4 bids and highest is 50 for the site which is making 300 per month. :17:

i don't know what happened, my listing is about to end.

No its affiliate site, but i list it as basic listing (established site $19), may be that's why i did't get much exposure.

can you tell me is that the case?

Use duplicator (plugin for wordpress site free to use) works awesome.
make sure you clean private details from the ftp folder before u use the duplicator since it duplicate the wole ftp map and mysql data base.
easy to use btw just click 3 times and you have the backup.

If you are using WordPress you can back up your whole site, absolutely everything inc database with the duplicator plugin. It is free and on the official WordPress site. I use this for all my sites. Once you have created a package then just upload the package to a new server and run a simple installer script. Takes minutes to move and install to another host. Everything from your original site is present, like affiliate details etc which you'd change for the new owner. simple and free

I use XCloner as backup and move sites ... I believe you could use this for transferring.

It's free and grabs content and databases and puts into a single .rar file.
