I'm just wondering is it profitable to sell short fiction stories? When I say short I'm ranging from 20-50 pages long. Does anyone have any success with that sort of writing?

While I have not had success with this, I am sure that there is a market for this somewhere. Have you tried to post under the hire a freelancer with a service like this?

Are you talking about kindle books or is it something else?

There's a whole subcategory on Kindle Store for "Short Stories". It's what a lot of people already do.

You might want to take your question to writing forums since they have writers who can answer with fiction-writing experience. I'm not confident that this is the most appropriate place for your issue.

I make quite a lot of money ($500+ per book per month) based on short stories of under 50 pages each on Amazon Kindle.

So if you have a lot of short stories that you can sell then the answer to your question is yes.

Thank you for the insight!

Mine are typically always between 20-35 pages. I try to cover a broad range of topics without going into too much detail
