How legal PPI is?

Asking this question behalf of my friend who lives in Belarus,
How legal PPI is? i mean government point of view ,Because when showing documents for tax she shows list of companies she received payments where money spent ,so is there any chance to get into issue? As it involves making people to install some software and we don't know in what purpose each advertiser doing

Well It' all a matter of what you write on your tax papers.

This business can be described many different ways :
- Selling a space on a website you own.
- Advertising a product.
- etc.

At the end what I mean is, it would talk someone really stupid to fill the paper saying "I get paid from not so legit companies that does I'm not sure what".

the issue is they(tax dept) point out the PPI company and ask what software they spread and what they do..

I'm not sure which country you're living in, but why would they investigate on a foreign company & goes in deep in order to find some "illegal activities" ?

Never heard of any tax authority ask about the sources of income, as long as you declare it. They may raise flags depending on the source (all cash etc) but never heard of PPI or CPA related investigation. They sure must be very busy there..
Just tell them they distribute browsers etc. blabla...

If you content locked fake apps and stuff. Just tell them you lock ebooks and information anf the PPI company pays you per user that installed an free application. You dont have to tell what method your using. just tell you get paid for advertisements.

What kind of software are you spreading? Mostly PPI companies give you download managers, media players etc.. Tell them the truth, that you advertise a download manager to users or something.

Most governments don't really care what you do for a living so long as you pay your taxes.

Here in Canada and alot of other G8 countries, prostitutes can report prostitution income on their taxes, even though it's not exactly legal.

Don't get caught lying to the tax man.

I'm really not sure your country has the mean nor the willing to investigate such activities.
beside that, at no point you agreed to spread malwares. It is not your concern, you get paid for a service you provide, and that's it.
