When I post on a webpage that uses facebook plugin I never tick the box that says also post to facebook.....there's no point is there as the only people that would see that are your fake facebook friends

I also untick that box. Does that mean that I'm safe from being banned by facebook?

I think so, I think all you are doing is posting on the webpage that runs the plugin. For example, I post a lot on huffingtonpost.com, my comments appear on the same page I comment on which is their site. It does say your comment may also appear on their facebook page but I have never noticed it.
 
Many good public facebook groups are moderated, You have to wait that moderated approve your posts depends on what you offer.
 
Meathead, Freddy, and to the rest of the heroes in this thread, thank you for the rod, the bait, and the fishing tips. Now I just need to find some bites. After slaving away for some content factory, I've decided to jump the cliff and give my wings a shot. I made my first website, uploaded a beautiful theme, picked a rather broad niche that has laser focus potential, and now I'm set to go. I'm a bit nervous, like a girl that's ready to audition for a play but circumstances have given me no choice but action. Some questions though:

Does a generic review site work better for clicks and converts than a semi-professional blog?

Should I focus on reviews only or throw in a bit of meat with content that people can act on? Or would that add too much clutter?

I've added a pop-up opt-in and some free goodies that require no sign in. Should I limit the access for subscribers?

Because my review site also gives advice, should I enable comments (atm they're disabled)?

Thanks to the people/s who answer this. I haven't started posting yet, so I'm sure I'll have more questions later. Perhaps one of the godfathers of this thread could have a look at my site? Friendly criticism is always welcome.
 
Congrats! Can't wait till I hit more than $0 a day lol. I'm still learning the basics of website creation and the methods of marketing and making money online
 
im at a consistant $50-150 a day doing this. Im on vacation for now but I plan on working on alot more of this once I return.
 
You have got to be kidding me!! Is anyone else getting their domains blocked on Facebook? 4 domains...gone. They're not cheap anymore. I'm posting relevant comments; this is getting ridiculous!
 
just read through this thread a second time and i think im gonna stop logging into clickbank/google analytics

i know method works but the fact that ive seen good success in a short period of time is starting to get me on the wrong track, expecting results the same day i post comments.

I was checking my stats constantly too....try not to bother checking them now until I wake up the next day
 
Thank you to all of you, especially meathead, you've truly saved me a great deal. Words cannot express my true gratitude. I've been averaging 2 sales per day and sometimes 3.

BuzzBundle definitely helped me loads but quite recently Facebook posts stopped showing up in the Buzzbundle list, has anyone else experienced this?

I've been reading the threads as much as I can but I'm still so confused lol. It's still like chinese to me. How do you even start to think of a product to sell online? Does it have to be a physical product your website offers? Or if, say, you were selling an eBook, doesn't it take months to write one of those? :(

oh and how do you make money from review sites? Is it all from ads?

yeah I'll reread everything until I understand it.

I was talking to someone not long ago who said they worked in IM for a large company. He said they spend thousands and thousands on SEO just to keep up and then stated that doing SEO as an individual would cost a whole lot more than it would make you. He kinda put me off it a bit, especially being new to all this. It makes sense, but is it true?

Anyway what do you guys think about writing about a favourite sports team. I'm thinking of writing about Liverpool FC and would enjoy doing it but dya reckon if it'll be able to make any money? how does one see if a niche is profitable beforehand (from examples)?
