Yeah..Not good. But yet you see comments from people complaining about torrents that have viruses and those torrents don't get deleted.

yesterday i uploaded four torrents to mininova...
three of them got on the page instantly, the other one should be reviewed...
off course then all torrents got deleted...
and no, torrentmoney is definitely not over...

And it didnt come up with 'your torrent will have to be downloaded by a third party to make sure it doesn't infringe copyright' because thats what I keep getting for everything but anime?

An old trick is just to hold off completing the file, ie allow it to get to bout 75percent then stop and build the traffic for 24 hours or so, then Mini can never see the completed infected file

This should really only be a problem if you're uploading either fake torrents, password protected torrents, or torrents with detectable viruses. Otherwise you can still make money on Mininova torrents.

Interesting, but I'd be curious to know more about monetization models for torrents that don't fall into:

PPI
Dirty Tactic - password protected files.
Malware

Since those are the only monetization vehicles I've ever really seen discussed here on BHW, I'd be interested to know how people are making money now that those things are becoming virtually impossible?

I can ONLY assume the thing that can still work is PPI. That's because some people are probably actually clever enough to have their binded .exe's not get detected.

Alternatively, I suppose one might be able to use legitimate torrents for traffic generation, and stuff the traffic. That might work.

If someone seriously has some value to add to this torrent section on BHW, that would be awesome. I've been checking it for about 2-3 months. There has been little of value provided here.

Other categories on BHW offer a lot more EFFECTIVE methods to make money.

There are still potentiality for torrent cash. Small torrent sites are too good to make bucks. i dont use mininova and tpb oftenly.They are waste of time.
