Could you share some of your tips/secrets to improve rankings through link building to the main website of a company?

New Website : Weekly No Links : Monthly No Links

1yr old Website : Daily No Links : Weekly No Links

In this forum a lot of people say never to build backlinks for a new website for the first month and then build up 10 links per month for one year and then other people recommend to start building links at the second week with 2 backlinks every day and after a year increase it to 10 backlinks a day.

Just focus of quality links rather than quantity.
And do maintain link velocity and social signals.

I dont reccomend building mass links direclty to it.
Build some web 2.0 or some 301 redicrects and blast direclty to those.

Don't believe in myths, there is plenty of wrong information about link building. Just go ahead and get good quality contextual links on authority sites.

Is there a rule of thumb for how many links per day or week can be created for a new website and a 1 year old website?
