I was reading yesterday that we are about to see the biggest wealth transfer in history as the Baby Boomers pass on their wealth to their offspring over the next 15 years or so - $30 trillion.
That's a lot disposable income ready to be spent - and a lot of business opportunities.
On the health side, I think wearables is going to be massive in that sector. Everyone is viewing wearables as an extension of their phone, on their wrist - I think they aren't seeing the much bigger picture.
It's the sensors that are going to give the biggest opportunities. And with sensors, health monitoring will be one of the biggest revenue generators (in my opinion).
That's a great niche for software and apps projects - and with a little creativity it's easy to combine it with IFTTT.

IFTTT is a tool that automates a lot of the processes that go into site management and linkbuilding with conditionals. e.g If {New post on website} -> Syndicate to web 2.0.
