Follow Limit for Instagram?

I've heard there is a follow limit after X amount of minutes, but I've been hearing different types of numbers. Does anyone have an estimate of what the follow limit is? I want to build my accounts by hand without relying on bots.

Also, if I go over this limit the first time will my account be banned, or will I not be able to follow for X amount of time? New to the Instagram game, sorry for the noobie questions.

It's either 60 or 120 follows per hour if I'm not mistaken, or 30 minutes.

I can only follow 50/hour manually from the IG app. 2 months old acc.
