id give you a smart arse comment like "invest in a printer and a dollar bill template" but I'm going to try my best:
simply put, you already answered your own question, with the hint that your passionate about music. Start creating music and blast it on all social platforms, focus on YouTube and soundcloud especially. Also try to get into iTunes or cdbaby - pretty good places to start as far as selling music. Another option is to try and get on iheartradio, and last.fm (here's plenty of other good alternatives out there.
Another twist, make music for apps and gaming - Don't know if that's your genre or niche, but believe me it doesn't matter as gaming music covers it all (8bit to hip hop to acoustic).
sounds a bit odd for BHW, but consider street performance if you live in a bigger city (or a city with a downtown area with bars, restaurants,etc. make sure you get licensing as needed. I know a street performer who just plays random pop tunes on his Sax and makes a living for himself.
last idea: write for music blogs/sites - $5/article and you should be enjoyable for you to write.. As well I would assume you have some expertise in this area so you could write it with quality and efficiently which only means you can demand higher pay and churn them out quicker.
