Mass Unfollowing on Twitter?

Is it just me or is there no really good tool for mass unfollowing on twitter. tweet flash becomes useless after 2k followers so what else can mass unfollow 2-3k following at a time? All the ones that have been talked about do like 20-30 at a time or dont load for like 30 mins.

Ya I hear ya but hittwitter sucks (25 unfollows at a time)
twitter karma doesnt even seem to unfollow anyone and thats after 10 mins of loading ill huitter.

I don't know if you mean Huitter when you mentioned hittwitter but really speaking Huitter is the only tool I have found which works quick and effective when it comes to mass unfollow.

Twitter Karma takes ages to load, so does Tweepular.

go hear and mass unfollow in a flash. I have used this about a hundred times till now. Never had a problem, and it does not do 25 unfollows at a time. It just wipes them all out in a matter of 5 mins. Even if it means unfollowing 1000 at a time.

Didnt know there was a limit for twitter karma sorry. What's Huitter's limit?

I am not sure for huitters limit but i have 13k followers and it works wonders for me.
It can remove those who doesnt follow in a flash (not really in a flash lol)

It is by far the fastest way I have found to mass unfollow. And I do mean fast. In fact, you may want to watch it as sometimes it digs about 40-50 deep past the stopping point.

But to me that is preferable to waiting forever for the others to load. Sometimes I watch it and refresh my twitter homepage once a minute. When the following/follower diff. is at 20, I'll exit the app and end up pretty close to even.

I dont think using these tools will get you banned. I have been using it on my MAIN Account ( I have only 1) and right now my follower list is 4900. Never got banned for using any of these tools.

I use flashtweet for mass follow and Huitter for mass unfollow and I use them every single day.

You account getting banned has to do with other factors:

1. Customize your Twitter account like changing the default profile pic, changing the default background image: If you have followed a lot of people without doing these, you are sure to get banned by Twitter immediately.

2. Following too many without followers: All twitter accounts get banned at the very beginning itself, thats because people get carried away and start following thousands in a day or two.

Start slow and steady: Add about 200 for the first 5 days->get about 300-400 followers->then unfollow all those not following you -> add some 500 more ->repeat other steps

By that method, no matter how many external tools you use, there is no ways Twitter is going to ban you. My account is a living proof for that
