how to mine bitcoins?

at the beginnig i want to apologize to post in this forum, i am new and need some help
so, i started reading about bitcoins and bitcoin MINING and decided to launch the path
i saw one video about mining using a rasberry pi
so i just want to ask you
is bitcoin mining reliable?
and do you recommend it to me as a beginner?

I absolutely don't recommend it. Mining has become extremely difficult during these days because the hardware is getting better each day. You wouldn't achieve good results with a raspberry pi.

Those videos you saw were only demonstrations. You could, technically, build mining rig from raspberries, but it wont bring you any money. There are specialized ASIC miners out there, but even with specialized hardware you need to invest substantial amount of money in order to be profitable (electricity bills).

right now in most places even with the most efficient mining rigs you will not be making enough money in bitcoin to pay for the electricity you use, then on top of that you have to somehow make enough money to pay off the rig you purchased and only after that can you make a profit. but the longer you are mining for the less and less you get in return as the difficulty goes up.

I wouldn't consider it a reliable consistent income source. Mining BTC with software on your PC will get you no where so you eventually will have to invest in Hardware ASIC Miners. And, high end miners cost around $6k-12k. If you're going to buy a low-end miner it wouldn't pay for itself any soon.
