Tips on how to sell website?

I'm not trying to be "that" guy and disregard rules but I don't want this site I built to be wasted. Dedication and tears!

But honestly, I don't think it's worth much, I think I've made $8 with adsense. My only issue is I'm ranking first page in Yahoo, and I'm on 2nd page of google all done by my "beginner" (didn't know a lick of shit about SEO) self, so I'm pretty happy with the result but I just don't have time at this point in my life, I just started school and I've ventured off into a diff area of IM that doesn't require so much upkeep.

If y'all have any ideas or tips let me know! I looked at flippa.com but I feel like it would just be an embarrassment to post my shitty shit on there lol.

I'm not going to put my domain, if you would like to see my site to offer tips (NOT BUY SINCE THATS AGAINST TEH RULEZ GUISE) then PM me. Hell idk anymore, I just don't want it to go to waste because it's ranking pretty damn decent for the keyword (high competitors, doubt it's saturated but there's over a million listings on google apparently.

Try selling it on a marketplace like Flippa. I've seen sites that make roughly what you are making sell for WAY more than their real value for one reason - potential. When your selling a website like that in the sales copy focus on what the website can become and what someone could do with it. Sell the dream and you should be able to get a good amount for it.

i would say even if your pitch is strong, most sites sell at 10X the revenue so I guess you need to improve your revenue before trying to flip it. There are some exceptions though.

That's the best idea i think too. Because you have potentiality to earn by your website and you know that , I'll suggest you to use that potentiality to improve your website. I'll get more in near future .
