From what i understood , the new version does the exact same things but it does it with different ways.

You see, I don't care about making 3000 requests to facebook server, because as you said correctly if each one takes 1 second, 3000 requests will take 3000 seconds / 60 = 50 minutes.
3000 profile views in 50 minutes, maybe that's too much, but you can tweak it to be 1 profile per 2 seconds, that would be 1500 profiles in almost 1 hour, which I doubt facebook would block your account.
But the thing is, your software has lost the "special sauce" which was collecting the ACTIVE users from pages, groups, etc.
Think with me on this one, if you use the actual scrapping method, of scrapping all the users that like a page, you'll get for example 10.000 users, which many of them are fake and innactive accounts and you'll need to do a lot of url requests to facebook for worthless accounts.
BUT, if you only scrape the ACTIVE users the program would have to do MUCH LESS url requests, so, facebook would not ban our accounts and we would have a high-quality list of ACTIVE users that really matter, not a low-quality list.
What I said above solves all the problems and while we will not scrape 100.000 active users in 10 minutes, even if we scrape 1.000 users in 2 hours I'm very happy, because I know each penny I'll invest in ads targeting those people will get me a much higher conversion rate.
AND, even if facebook bans our account for scrapping too fast, which I really doubt but ok, guess what? WE CREATE A NEW ONE! What's the big deal here?
You want to have good and usefull software? Code this:
- Scrape for active users in pages/groups;
- Let users write their own url request delay and pre-define it to 2 seconds;
- Maybe support multiple facebook accounts with proxies, that way, if we could scrape lets say 500 users per hour with one account, with 10 accounts we would scrape 5000 in one hour.
You do this, your software will be very usefull and worth the money, because right now, a software that just collects uid/emails from all the users that like a page, etc it's just useless and makes us waste a lot of money targeting users that don't convert.
When I create ads, I prefer a list of 1.000 active users than a list of 100.000 "random" users.

No personal offense intended as you did what you can do, but this new extraction method is nothing short of awful. It's limited to 5,000 records at a time, but you're going to be lucky to get that as there's no way to pause or restart extraction if FB dies while loading the next batch of users, etc. On top of that, the extension itself is poorly coded and rushed. There's no way to batch jobs, switch FB accounts, use proxy servers or anything else.
All this extension will do is scroll down a FB search results page containing a list of user profile links (like hxxp://www.facebook.com/username), scrape the "username" part and append "@facebook.com" to the end of it. That's it. If you're lucky enough that something doesn't bug out or crash, you may get a total of 5k results scraped per hour. You also have to babysit your extractions, meaning that if you want to create an audience of a decent size you'll need to sit there doing graph searches all day. If this is truly the best that can be done with the updates to the FB API, then doing custom audiences is going to get a lot harder.
In short - this Chrome extension is a poor substitute for the previous software (which was one of the best tools on the market) and honestly this particular method can be better done with other, more flexible web scrapers that are on the market. You could do this with iMacros or something in Firefox if you wanted to and it might end up a bit more robust.
Be happy you're not obligated to offer refunds or you'd probably end up going broke providing them.

Your software right now it's so useless, that even facebook ads give you the option to target people that like a page or are interested in a subject.
So we have no need to even use your software, because facebook does exactly the same job with the targeting function.
Do better than you? I don't need to spend my time coding when I have people like you that code Chrome extensions, you see, changing = for a ! in this line if(data != "VALID|PAID"){ can make wonders, but then again, this software right now is useless.
I would use it, if you add the date scraping function, that would scrape real active users, maybe you'll make another update on your chrome extension.

Wow....that DID escalate pretty quickly. I can't really say that the last few posts made Sasha look like a good representative for his product. That was some pretty ugly, juvenile behavior.

Hey boys and girls, I wanted to clear some things up!
As you know recently Facebook made a BIG change in how they allow access to their NEW API 2.0
With that being said we had a GREAT run with SLG, and since we want to keep User Extraction ALIVE, we had to make some adjustments to our software.
Many of you are not happy with the new Chrome Extension, and blaming us for FRAUD and calling us LIARS. I personally do not appreciate this type of crap, and the BLAME you guys put on us!
For those of you that are confused, remember THIS IS BLACK HAT! These types of programs and methods will only last so long. It is not our fault and all we are doing is trying to keep the show going. As I stated before there is absolutely NO WAY to make a standalone software to work! Stop blaming us for Facebook's update!
If you don't feel that this software is for you please don't purchase it. We have over 4000 clients and everyone loves the new Chrome Extension. With that being said there is no reason for collecting LARGE amounts of users. I recommend uploading lists of 10k-30k in to your custom audience.
And for those that have supported us for this transition I greatly appreciate it. We will continue to monitor Facebook and make updates as necessary!
