GPT Sites - What do you think?

Hi there. I'd really like to know your thoughts about GPT (Get Paid To) sites as a whole. I really never gave them much consideration because the general consensus appeared to be they were all scams. Then I met someone that insisted that I go check one particular website out. The one he was talking about was CashCrate. So I went and joined the site with pretty low expectations..

So now I've now been a registered member with CashCrate since July 2014. I go by my username AppoholicsAnonymous there and currently I have actually earned approximately $10,000 with them. I understand this is very hard to believe but it is true. I have seen people stating that it's a scam or they don't pay enough money per survey for it to be worth the time. You may have also seen comments from individuals stating there just is not any offers or surveys provided for them.

I'd actually like to know more about your personal experience with CashCrate, but I feel dirty going somewhere else to learn about it - especially since I'm already here at BHW. Perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing this information more directly, i.e. by posting more detail. Ok if not. It just seems likely some people may miss out on a possibly viable model many people wrote off years ago. If someone can make $10k in under a year I'd say the model/method is worth at least considering, and possibly trying. I'm just not popping over to another forum to find out. Glad to read about your success for sure!

I've seen others say the same thing and without knowing any of the details I cannot make a judgement call either way on anyone else's situation. All I can talk about is my own experience with them. Sorry that happened to you.

If I could simply pull all my posts off there and put them on here I would but it's more of a journey than a single thread or post. All I can say is that you do not have to register on their forum to read any of my posts. If you want to read them, there they are. If not that's fine too.

CashCrate gives you a dollar a lead on top of all that commission, but it's nearly impossible to make a living off it.

I don't think I'll ever make a living on it but a few extra hundred dollar bills a week sure does come in handy.

Most people focus on the wrong things with GPT sites. I went into it knowing what I was going to focus on - Referrals and referrals only. If you go into it thinking you are going to make it big by doing lots of surveys and offers only, you may end up being disappointed.

I have always tried to focus on income opportunities that would eventually become recurring/passive. If you have IM experience and know how to drive traffic, promoting a GPT site like this is a no-brainer in my opinion.

Not really sure what the question is here. It's real for anyone that can get referrals. I'm not the only one there making good money off referrals, there are many others that have established blogs that do well too.

i am a noob here so i will not disclose but am associated with a GPT site. I for one am still learning and hope to see much more information on this thread. I will say this, in the site i am associated with, there are couple of things that makes a GPT go well.

1. GPT site is a numbers game. The focus is gaining new people everyday. There are many that can come but how many of those you retain in it? As a member to the GPT site, it's tough to make solid money. It's a grind to get a couple of bucks. The GPT site has to be focused on providing tools for the members so they can refer others well to the site with a good experience. Everything is a numbers game and it's important that there are tools for referrals in the site. Some tools that is important, links to sites, blogs that can be linked by users to social media networks, offers that can be linked in social media. A tool for users to provide their referrals. Set up success for your users to refer others is key.
2. GPT that is also a community site. It's amazing how important it is. A site that has a wall of offers to grind out 10 bucks in paypal is one thing but if you have a good community in the site, retainment of those users can happen and referrals will come to bring some passive income.

Anyways, nice forum so far. I hope to be more active and learn.
