I thought it would be fun if we all shared our first post here on BHW.

I can start of by showing my first post:

I'm into this method too and I were making $5/day after 1 week with this method (10 videos up).
But keep in mind, YouTube does ban alot and you will get flagged and removed channels.
So try to save up the money so you can work with more stable methods in the future as YouTube is really unstable.

I was so proud of making $5/day, I remember it like it was yesterday lol.

How can I see my first post? I used the Wayback Machine to find mine as I did a couple of searches on Google and it would take forever to find the first one.

I thought it would be a great site for IMers to milk as it was still really in start up mode.

Ironically, someone thought it was my own site and I was self-promoting because it was my first post after joining BHW 3 years previously (ironic, because I am now the guy, who when an old account makes a first post after 2 or 3 years, my first thought is always 'bought account').

Wish recently hit a valuation of $3billion, so I wish the person who pulled me up for self-promotion was correct.

Hello everyone, after finding useful information on this website for the past 2 weeks about affiliate marketing, as well as reading some interesting threads in the lounge, I've finally decided to join the community! I started affiliate marketing 3 days ago after I had gathered sufficient information on terms and tactics related to marketing on the internet, but I am not a newcomer to the internet. I've been creating and managing websites since I was 9 years old (my first website was about dragonflies and attracting them to your pond or habitat; it was absolutely abysmal), but I've more recently taken an interest in affiliate marketing. With that introduction said, I hope I can become a more valued member of this community and learn from all of you.

Some interesting notes about my first post:

• The website that I mentioned creating when I was 9 was actually created when I was 11 (I'm not sure why I put 9, although I may have been referencing an experience I had with the Internet at that age) and it was absolutely terrible. It had about 10 poorly-coded pages about dragonflies, ponds, and what attracts dragonflies to ponds; and no monetisation.
• I had actually found out about Black Hat World a bit sooner before joining, but it wasn't until 2 weeks prior to my join date that I began finding useful information (which made me choose Black Hat World over WickedFire and Warrior Forum).
• When I mentioned not being a newcomer to the Internet, I was talking about my experience with making money online (around $500 over the course of 2 weeks) at the age of 15 by referring people to a GPT website (referral marketing). I later posted the rest of the story here on Black Hat World in this thread and referenced it again in this thread. Interestingly enough, I was more excited about making my first $8.59 with affiliate marketing (I even started a thread about it, that's how excited I was) than I was about making the $500 because I was relieved to know that Clickbank wasn't a scam and affiliate marketing was new to me.

Go to "My Profile" and click on "Find Latest Started Threads" if your first post was a thread.

You can always try "Find Latest Posts" although that may not go too far back.

It was in a thread about whether money can buy happiness not too long ago.

In a study done a few years back, it was found that recent hispanic immigrants were the happiest group in the US, despite being in the bottom rungs of the socio-economic ladder.


Costa Rica consistently ranks above the US in the happiest countries list.


Family, close knit extended community beats out money almost every single time...and then comes a time when one has to shell out for an expensive medical treatment for a loved one....


On a personal note, the happiest moments/memories have been time spent with loved ones. Never about stuff.
