should I change my video title?

Hi guys! I have a youtube video, in which I discovered I have a really nice keyword giving me a lot of views. This keyword wasn't even included in the title, nor the description nor even in the tags, but it was included in the video content (the video is about this thing).


I optimized the video with better description and tags, trying to focus a bit more on this keyword


Should I change the title too? The title its 4 words length, as I think, the more words you put the more unattractive would be, I'm not sure about changing the title.


Would a title change give me a worse positionating for the video?

If you're trying to focus on that keyword, then it be best to change the title as well.

Thanks you for answer. That keyword give me >50% of total views actually, I want to get more cash from this keyword, but anyway I dont want to loose the other views.

The idea I just got is changing the video title video from "namevideo" to "namevideo (keyword)" the new tittle would be 7 words length.

But I am already getting 10$/day with this video (well it might not be the best income but I am noob anyway). Would a title change change my already good positionating? I read something like you had to rank again after changing title of your website, is this correct?

I don't think changing the title would cause you to re-rank your video all over again. As long as you keep it the same and parse in the keyword like the example you mentioned, you should be fine.

Your title is a vital part of what you rank for, I'd say in order you rank for:
1. Title
2. Description
3. Tags
4. Video Name
5. Thumbnail name

First time I've seen that mentioned here. Not sure if that helps with anything, but I include my keywords in all of my file names before uploading.
