I've got the updated SLG, and honestly? It sucks.
A chrome extension? Seriously? That scrapping method with the browser open, instead of a proper software is just "lol".
I don't know what code you've done, but to me, you changed the UIDExtractor logo for SLG, and boom, done.

New update is terrible. WTF man, a crappy little add on that has almost no functionality at all. It's identical to UIDextractor.
I paid $97 dollars for this thing only to have the api update hit the day later.. now theres this plugin that literally takes hours to scrape ID's and I have to keep the browser open.. Cmon man you can do better than this.

I just bought the software and use it for "1 only one day" and the API change ruin it.
But if this software will be a chrome extension like you have just send with email, I'm sorry but I will demand a refund.
This is not what I paid for. Furthermore I couldn't even use it for a second day.

Yep, Everyone hold your horses, I just tested the new SLG4.0 and It's as slow as the other one but with new functionality. I wouldn't believe Sasha would be that type of guy who would just replace the working machine for a chrome extension.

The "New" version is very disapointing, this is just impractical to scrape any real size/usable audience and it really does not compare at all to the previous version, I am not happy with this at all can you confirm that this is a workaround while you guys are updating the proper social lead gold software ?

Hate to say it but i really don't want a browser extension.
I purchased SLG software very recently. And if im honest i wouldn't have bought it if i knew this would happen.
But having said that Sasha is a good person who always strives to ensure his customers are happy, so lets wait and see.

Alright so here is the rundown for all our current clients and future customers.
The Facebook Custom Audience extraction market is basically split into two types of software, the first type is API based and the second is Graph Search.
The Facebook Custom Audience extraction market is basically split into two types of software, the first type is API based and the second is Graph Search.
Lets start with the API.
Under this category we had 2 major players, Social Lead Gold and Ali's tool named Social Lead Freak. These tools functioned and operated using Facebook's old API which let the user convert UIDs into @facebook emails. (As many of you know after Facebook's big change, email extraction was the only solution left in order to continue to make Custom Audience ads.)
These tools were functioning 100% ( Obviously SLG was better since we had no operational crashes or issues in gathering and provided support and updates on a regular basis!) and let users extract Active and most Passionate users who like/comment/share on posts in groups (open/close), pages, places and events. Social Lead Gold even had an option for batch mode! The downside of these types of tools was the inability to precisely target their users by location, interest, age, gender, etc.. The Upside of these tools was the ability to ONLY extract users who are the most ACTIVE, which in turn brought more conversions and activity to your ads.
The second category is Graph Search.
Currently we are the only one's in the market to bring this type of user extracting back to the market with the well known UIDextractor tool. As many of you know we started with Graph Search back in the day, which was the best of its type. Not counting any primitive tools on the market, the NEW version of SLG 4.0 is back to business and using Graph Search. Implementing ability to precisely target users by location, interest, gender, studies , etc with Facebook native search syntax and extracting from closed groups, open groups, events, individual posts, and pages. With these abilities we added an extremely fast additional engine - that extracts group participants and page Likers / Sharers and hopefully Commenters in our next version! We will continue to update and add new features as we go through this transition process!
Now what exactly happened?
Facebook has removed some key elements during their move from API #1 to API #2, the major element that was removed was the ability to converting UIDs into @facebook emails. From that moment every tool on the market took a BIG hit, even some common applications not related to extracting were effected and took a big loss.
Ali from Social Lead Freak acted fast, he changed the UIDs to email converter Tab from API based into url request mechanism! In a nutshell his software was sending thousands of url requests to Facebook servers, example: www.facebook.com/100002394471607 and returned with www.facebook.com/ioana.sotir.3 then converted into email: [email protected].
Not the most practical or safe solution but it works, REALLY? Ok lets analyze it, lets say he has 3000 extracted UIDs now he needs to convert them into emails. In order to complete this task he needs to send requests to Facebook 3000 times with "a headless browser that left so many tracks and footprints the converting time is about 1 email per sec - see video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=18&v=ft0HpOZen3s" you can say OK so people can wait! Its true, BUT Facebook will instantly block you and kill your account for sending mass requests to their servers and if that is not enough a lot of these UIDs are fake.
So what NOW?
We have looked for a faster, steady and safe solution. The only choice we currently have is to go back with Graph Search operation or direct HTTP protocol. With that being said, we have added a few modules and an additional hybrid engine which helps us extract users extremely fast and safe from groups, pages, events and more. Not to mention the regular benefits of this. Ok, BUT why not have a stand alone software like before?
1. Any other solution which is NOT based on REAL BROWSER will be detected by Facebook instantly and will kill your Facebook account.
2. Lets say that we do not care for user security and want to build a stand alone software, unfortunately Adobe Air is out of the question and so are other coding languages which stopped supporting Graph Search parameters.

Just got a week ban from Facebook for viewing too many profiles.. Good idea to give people a heads up that scraping can actually get ur account disabled... Ffs.

wait so does the new software still get people that like photos from a page?
i have few questions about your software :
1-may facebook suspend ads account due to using scraped emails for custom audience ?
2-i have a new activated ads account, is it good idea to upload about 10K emails to create custom audience ?(volume of custom audience and age of ad account)
3-if some of uploaded emails were wrong may it be result in suspension fb ad account ?
