I see content writers for days on the informational side of things but what about writers for funny memes or Vine/Youtube scripts?
Any good comedy writers in the house?

I'm curious as to whether or not funny meme's are done by comedy writers or just regular Jane's and Joe's w/ a good sense of humor. Would it be better suited in another subforum?

anybody could be a comedian, it kinda comes down to perception, and preference.

I guess I can see how you'd say that....buuuuuut not everyone would have a wide-appeal as a comedian, which is why some professionals never grow beyond doing work at local dives and other's end up w/ TV shows/movies/endorsement deals, etc.
I guess I could just Insta gank other's meme's and repost w/o giving props but I'd like to do original content, if possible. Hadn't found a service for it as of yet. Maybe I'll just peruse G images and see if any pics spark funny* thoughts to generate my own memes -_-

What i mean is not everyone who's really funny is a comedy writer, some of these guys who have a huge youtube or vine are just plain funny, without ever giving themselves the title of comedian. While there are commercial guys who do really bad jokes out there, who aren't really funny, yet have the title of "comedy writer"
Even comedians don't have that wide of an appeal, it's more about what's trendy. For instance dane cook is hardly a remembered name anymore. He was once maybe the biggest "comedian" in the world although never really that good, it was more of a hype thing. Right now a lot of commercials and ads are really reaching for that cartoon network "omg this is seww random" style of comedy, it's weird, but yeah comedy is similar to music, it's taste and perception.
So you're trying to find someone to make you your own memes to grow a niche audience? You could probably do that yourself if you find out what your audience finds funny! Different crowds like different level stuff. Some will scoff at a racist joke or something crude about women, other crowds only find that style funny it's actually quite interesting. You can actually do really well on social media with anything comedy related just by hitting the right eyes, and branding. The people will share this type of stuff all day.
