Placed an order on 23rd April, not quite due yet but will be due tomorrow. Quite anxious to see the report as I have several more orders waiting to be placed if these are as good as I hope they are!

Review:

Sites created and delivered on time. Of the 5 ordered, 4 have been indexed by Google, but the xxxx.jimdo.com hasn't been indexed, and Google confirms this is due to the robots.txt page on that site. Looking directly at the xxxx.jimdo.com file shows the following;
Code:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /

This prevent's the site from being indexed by any search engine that follows what's in the robots.txt file (like Google). In effect this makes this site useless to me, so I only ended up with 4/5 sites created and working.

I am now manually creating my own web2.0 sites and buying content elsewhere.

Edit - just thought it was worth mentioning that this issue is to do with Jimdo, I logged into the account with the credentials provided by the OP, but there was no way to modify the robots.txt file that I could find. I have now deleted that blog post, and used the content on one of my own Web 2.0 blogs.

thank you for your valuable review, greatly appreciated.

unfortunately we were not able to look further into this jimdo site, because it is deleted.
frankly, this is the first time we have this issue with jimdoo (otherwise we wouldn't use it anyway),
we further check those sites we made in jimdo and even those from months ago are still having
the "do-follow" links active up and runs nicely, so we would rather think there must had been
something wrong with this site which now deleted, so it's an isolated problem instead of jimdo's issue.

one thing for sure, we QC'ed these sites before we delivered the package, and we found this passed the checks we had.

wish that we had a chance to look into this further before it was deleted.

anyway, thanks for highlighting the issue to us and using our web 2.0 service

best regards
Walter
