When is it better to niche down?

If I have multiple niche's on my authority site, isn't it better because it will attract more visitors for more keywords? When is it better to niche down?

I think it is a good idea to start with one niche and then expand from there when it makes sense to do so.

I have no problem with that, but I'm worried my domain name isn't going to match when I expand.

I usually try to pick brandable names for a evergreen niche, so it matches generically.

There is Both, Positive & Negative. If you can afford to do Gig SEO then go with more Niche. If not go with one to rank quickly.

For Big Authority Site Multiple Niche is Best. But It takes long time rank them all.
