Hey, I know this post isn't really supposed to go here, but it felt like the proxies section was dead at the moment.

Now, onto the question.

I have recently found a scheme to get some money in my PayPal, now I currently use Tor because my IP address has been used on PayPal in the past, and I have been banned on multiple accounts. The crappy thing about Tor, is that 1) It constantly changes my IP, which I believe throws up a red flag on PayPal. 2) I am on IPs from other countries, and my address is in the US.

Does PayPal really look at your IP, and throw up a red flag if there are multiple IPs that have logged onto that account, from nowhere near your address specified on your PayPal?

I have had 2 PayPal accounts banned in the past few days, after receiving funds, and trying to quickly spend the money on a PayPal related site.

My main question is this. I use FoxyProxy, and I was able to get a United States IP from a proxy forum. It was a fairly new proxy, and it worked with Google. The strange thing was that PayPal did not pop up, and I received an error message through Firefox. Does PayPal know certain IPs are fraudulent, and automatically blocks them? I was using Tor, and I did not have this problem. Could it be an error with FoxyProxy?

And a weird thing that kept showing was this: Welcome to the CoDeeN HTTP CDN Service! What the hell is this? This showed up on a few of my proxies.

NOW, if someone can provide information to most of my questions it would be greatly appreciated. AND if someone can assure me that they have proxies for sale, that DO NOT get blocked by PayPal, and are located in the U.S. let me know.

I figure if someone could provide me with 20 US based IPs, I could also use them with Craigslist if all else fails. I would also be willing to buy one trial proxy, and figure out if that solves my PayPal issues. PLEASE help me out here, this shit has been racking my brain for the past few hours, after watching over 4 PayPals become limited in the past week.

Yup I've had that problem too. I use foxyproxy as well.

CoDeeN HTTP CDN is just a specific type of proxy, I think it's shared. Anyways the error you got is not specific to paypal, it's just an error with that perticular proxy. Get another one, put it in foxy proxy, test the speed and security, and you are good to go.

Forums suck btw because they proxies get clogged real quick, prob what happened to you. Look for proxy lists instead and do us only. Search google for something like "http proxy lists" and input the ip and ports u collect in FoxyProxy. Do like 5 different proxies because probably like 3 of them won't work. drop those and then use the 2 that do. they will probably only work for like 1-3 days so you might have to repeat the process, but ull get the hang of it. to get a new working batch, it only takes like 2 minutes for me.

hope that helped :)

Yeah thanks man.

But the thing with PayPal not working, was that other sites worked but PayPal didn't. Is that still just an error with the proxy?

Do you know of anyone that sells decent US based proxies? I would be willing to pay for a bunch, I just want to be reassured that they work with PayPal.

Thanks again

buy a US VPN service, it's much more secure and it works out cheaper rather than hopping from proxy service to proxy service. You can get them for around $4/month if you look around.

i dont know what happens to paypal whenever i use proxy...I got my 2 accounts limited by using the proxy....They think that the account is been used by some 3rd party!!!

Paypal will limit the account based on GEO location of the IP (seems to be country specific and not within certain distance), or if multiple accounts use the same proxy.

Get yourself a remote desktop server in the US and use that to login.

Any programs, or websites, that would let me do this?

And would a VPN do the same thing? I'm really confused about all of this.

Would a remote desktop server change my IP then?

mine got blocked after using another vpn. I talked to paypal and now all is fine for all IP locations.

But does anyone know of any good paid VPN providers? And will they actually work with PayPal, to not get limited.

For proxy list .. go to checkedproxylists .com
You can download the latest .csv file it should have a lot of US ip..

IF not satisfied then you should search the download section for masksurf pro...

b/4 i continue i would like to say that Tor is the next best thing to an open vpn... alot of guys are using tor quite seccesfully with paypal .....

back to mask surf... this software is based on tor technology, ans it has an option to choose ip from country... i use it all the time it works fine

But it might grow slow atimes as you know.....

Do not go any where near PayPal with Tor or public proxies. You need either a VPN (with dedicated IP) or dedicated elite proxies. And if you're changing proxies (which you will have to as they usually die quite often), make sure your new proxy matches the location state of your previous one.

Yes PayPal look VERY closely at IPs. This is one of the biggest things they look at in fact. To be safe you need to keep your IP the same for as long as possible and try to have them from places as close to each other as possible

That is complete and utter rubbish. Tor is useless on PayPal.

Yeah that's what I've found out trying to use over about 5 accounts now. Do you have any suggestions on a good dedicated VPN, or good Elite Private Proxies. The people I talk to that sell Proxies don't give me a clear cut answer if their proxies are safe to use with PayPal...

For dedicated IP VPNs try either madvpn.com or purevpn.com

5socks.net is pretty good for proxies, although don't download their software (it has trojans) and don't expect the proxies to last longer than a few hours.

Hope that helps

Hello,

Please can you confirm that when I am abroad I should not use my Paypal or they will lock my account ?

Thank you for your help.
