The Instagram API isn't shrouded in mystery, you can NOT get a username from the call-back script. Full-stop, period.

This is entirely untrue. You're right though that the Instagram API isn't shrouded in mystery and if you actually read the documentation publicly available on their developer site you would see the response returned from the callback from Instagram, it includes: access token, account ID, username, full name and profile picture.

My main account is 4 months old and have 20k real and 2k real looking followers. The rest 5 accounts ( in same niche as main account ) are supporting. So this is how I started:

At the beginning I bought 2k followers. Those followers are added by some panel/bot. Accounts look like real people, but they are not. The reason i did this was, because it look a lot better to see [ 2000 followers - 524 following ]. And because of that people are following back ( when you are doing follow/unfollow ), simply because they don't want to be out of the crowd. " If 2000 people are following this account, he have something valuable, so I will follow him/her back"

now I've got it. that's 100% true though. even when I'm personally checking out somebody else's profile, I don't follow those, who follow more people that have followers

How are you getting the emails because the literature on the instagram api offical site does not mention anything about giving email.

So you request this information on the form?

My understanding is that the user authorizes their Instagram account with the OP, and then supplies their email address in a field in addition to this.

Awesome stuff! I'm for sure going to try and implement a form of this method in my current adventure. Hopefully I can find a way to enhance it further..

Few Questions:
- Do you find the most people buying shoutouts to be other IMers or what kind of demo would you put them in?
- Your secondary payment gateway, fortumo, I saw on their site that they only cover 19% of the US; have you run into any problems there?
- With the storing of the tokens, I'm assuming you use the IG api to get auth to like on their behalf and use that to have them like all of your existing posts and when they are posted. Am I misunderstanding something? If that's what's your doing couldn't you sell likes (or even real followers if the script expands the scope that far) as an extra income stream?

I was wondering the exact same thing....

Either way this is definitely a good read. Subscribed and will definitely be following for future updates and post. Just observing everyone's thoughts and such for now.
