So I work at a travel agency and we make money out of commission only
and I wanted to know if there's other different ways to make money out of my office
such as advertising for other companies or anything related to advertising through my business office

Are you trying to generate overall commission for the entire travel agency, or generate more commission for yourself that is payed by the travel agency?

OK, I understand that you want to earn commision from the travel agency you're at now, and earn commission from other companies on the side. Would those other companies be other travel agencies too?

Did you think it was a bad idea?
Did you try the idea and it didn't work?
Or are you just not going to try it?

Here's my idea then:

Give each customer a package of 'medicine' to deliver to a sick 'aunty' of yours when they get to their hotel.

Here's the clever bit though - tell them your sick aunty might look suspiciously like a male drug dealing gangster - but that's one of the side effects she gets when she runs out of her medication.

hotels won't give any agency special discounts
they will look at your volume sales
and getting special prices for flights and other travel services you need to be an IATA member
which we already are and we already got our own prices
so his idea is already been used and known

Why not just setup a referral program of your own and recruit people to work under you? They could do it from home and you just manage everything from the office...

OK, I understand now that you work as an advertsing publisher, and you want to find other companies to advertise for, other than travel agencies.

Do you work with other publishers within your orgainization, such as you guys all look for a variety of different companies to promote? And you want to find more businesses to promote?

Working for a well known agency that's an acredited IATA member and with plenty of clients is already impressive. I'm surprised you're having trouble. What are people promoting, not just travel agencies?
