Noob's Journey to Instagram

Hi everyone,

A little background info of myself. I'm a high school grad trying to make some extra money for university. Meanwhile I'm working a full time job which pays quite decently but it's really mundane. Being exposed to an office environment and seeing how negative everyone is about work made me realise that I do not want a boring 9-5 job when I grow up.

I started an instagram account 2 days ago and I have about 20 posts so far. All my photos are ripped from Google/ Other IG users with the same niche. I am facing a problem right now because I cannot seem to get any real followers. I guess the account has to have a follower base first before people will want to follow it. All my photos have 10+ likes which are mostly from bots through my hashtags and all/majority of my 10+ followers seem to be bots.

I usually update the instagram account on my smartphone when travelling and sometimes when I am bored at work.

Some questions:
1.) Should I post more content before following people?
2.) Should I get lets say about 100 fake followers so that the followback rate will be much higher?
3.) Can/Should I follow other users manually or should I use a programme (Heard about followliker, considering whether it is worth the investment).

Oh and one more question,

4.) Should I post original content? Does that make a difference? The few other IG accounts I'm ripping off from has like 2000 followers and 1000 following.

I will try and update everyday/ once every few days and I hope you will keep me accountable

Original content definitely helps but is a pain to do. Follow liker was a good option but I am now seeing a lot of people complain about the engagement they are getting. Just be patient and do not buy fake followers, try to follow about 500 people everyday from niche-related accounts and you will see the difference, everything in life just take a little time.

1) I think 20 photos is more than enough to get started with.
2) No, don't do that, you'll gain 100 followers in no time.
3) Up to you, if you have the money, invest in FollowLiker, it'll save you tons of time.
4) Up to you again, I doubt it makes any difference, unless you grow really big account. As long as your content is high quality, you should be fine. And also, that account whom you are stealing from is probably stealing from somewhere else as well

Do you guys think, adding fake followers in the initial stage of the acc, can affect engagement ratio later on?

Decided to give it another 2-3 weeks before choosing whether to invest in follow liker. Receiving really mixed reviews. Anyway, I have about 20+ posts now w/ about 200 followers and 600 following. What I did today and last night was that I went to a bigger account w/ the same niche and started mass following people, been doing that for the whole day.

My main problem now is that my followers never like my photos. Even w/ 200 followers, I only have about 10+ likes on my latest photos. I'm afraid that will affected the popularity and the creditability of the page. I will still continue to update regularly and follow people whenever im free. Do you guys think it is safe to create more than one IG account on the same com/phone. Will IG check the I.P. address and all that stuff?

Could be a variety of things:
1. The people you are following are not active. The account your scraping from could very well be full of fake followers...
2. Your content is not good enough. People only like stuff that they like right?
3. Your posting at a bad time of the day for your followers. This is much more noticeable with an account of your size.

use #Hashtags relatable to your audience. make sure you have a website your followers can go to that's set up with advertisements + or products you are tying to sell. Original content is king.

@OP, instead of using hashtags, try scraping users who liked a certain pic within your nic, then like/comment on their pics or follow them.

Currently have FL. Kinda messed up my Instagram because since it's been inactive I've deleted my old posts ( I thought the followers will be more receptive to new posts!) In addition, I changed my IG name to a different name (For a fresh start)

It sounds like it could work! But the only way to really know
is to run your own tests and see what the results are.

I plan on doing the same journey as you, I think cross promoting if the niches are similar through shoutouts is a great idea. Females like instagram alot more than males.
