Questions regarding Scrapebox

First post here, long time reader, first time signing up.

I want to start making an income online, and the first thing that popped in my mind was Scrapebox.
I'm planning to open blogs, post articles and blast the site with different links in order to boost the site to the first results quickly, get some cash,
and after the site gets the penalty just replicate the success with a new site.

In order to do so I need some answers regarding Scrapebox and the whole proccess in general.

1. Proxies are a must? If yes, where do I get them and for what price?
2. A VPS is required? If yes, what kind am I looking for?
3. I see on the site that I can harvest .gov sites. But how can I comment and create a backlink to my site?
4. Any other tips, guides and info regarding this will be appriciated

-There are lots of free proxy lists and I see that Scrapebox can scrape them automatically, is that enough or should I go for paid proxy?
-If I buy for example a pack of 10 private proxies, for how long can I use them before they burn out?

2. No. If you do get one, get a Windows VPS with fast internet and lots of RAM.

4. Just play around with it. Learn how to create your own footprints too, you don't want to add your link to the sites everyone else has already spammed to death.

If only it were that easy. Boosting a site to the top will take more than Scrapebox alone, though Scrapebox is a very useful tool for link building. Others here will probably comment further on that, I would but I'm not 100% on what's working these days posts Google changes.

As far as proxies, take it from me don't even bother messing with the proxies scraped from public sources. Try them out, you'll see what I mean. To experience the true power of Scrapebox you need yourself some fast private proxies, then you'll see what I mean.

You don't need a VPN, but then it depends on how you're going to use it. Oh, and Scrapebox can run multiple instances so if you install it on VPN ... well you catch my drift.

As far as I know, top ranking comes down to 2 things which are: Content and backlinks. if both are in check it should give me a hell of a boost
and keep me up top for a while. Also, given the fact I'm using a local google, a blasted site (scrapebox backlinked) holds the top results for about a year until it's rank drops (did a test sometime ago).

As far as the proxies go, I don't mind adding an extra thirty-bucks a month as it's very likely to get the investment back.
But I do have a question, there are proxies that are sell for thirty-bucks for a 10K list that updates twice a day and claims to be good for Scrapebox, and than there's 10 private proxies for thirty-bucks. Which one should I take for my use?

If you're speaking about Proxygo, I can only say I read only good things about his proxies from other members. Not using his service personally I can't vouch for his proxies but I am certain there are many others who would and will.

I have to admit, when I was using SB more often in the past I was using 10 private proxies that never failed. It was soo sweet.

10 proxies are more likely to get burnt quicker, or I'm wrong?

Well, if you are using public proxies then 10 proxies would get burnt quicker. However, if you are using private proxies, then it would be a different story.

Thanks @srb888, that's exactly right.

It's all about finding a common theme between a couple of websites. For example, I want to find websites created using Yola (Crappy free websites):

The most common thing between them is the URL:

site:yolasite.com

I can modify this to find contact pages which contain an email address:

site:yolasite.com @gmail.com OR @yahoo.com OR @hotmail.com inurl:contact

I can also modify this further to find pages with a contact form, and without a captcha:

site:yolasite.com  inurl:contact -"Enter the words above" Name + Email + Message + Submit

You just need a few good sites to start, and then you should be good to go.

I just got from a friend his license to Bookmarking Demon which seems pretty cool. problem is the software is very complicated and I can't
seem to figure it out. Where can I learn how to use it properly? Also, do I really need it if I have scrapebox or it's too much?

Proxies are must if you are planing on scraping.
Any VPS with decent ram like 2GB or more will be OK.

Can anyone please tell me what proxy should I get?
If I take for example a package of 10 Private Socks 5 IP's it'll be enough for blasting comments using scrpebox or I need something else?
