I follow up to 7.5k and then unfollow back to 0. I can't do both at the same time because it leads to 24h ban unfortunately.

I usually follow people and set it that they are automatically unfollowed after 3 days if they don't follow back, that should be enough time for them to follow back if they want to.

I have just started with Instagram with 1 manual acc. All I do is what you have described (fallow/unfollow). As you said, most likely the like ratio will be affected in future. How can I optimize things. Can you throw few quick tips?

I run an acc for my clothing/skateboard brand.

Most users I target are indeed interested in what I post.

I receive 200-400 likes with 3k followers, first 50 in 15 mins depending on when I post.

While this can be the case most of the time, I have found that it also
highly depends on niche, content and targeting. If you have all of these at a high quality then you can still see great engagement.

What would be your solution? I also feel like following/unfollowing gives a bad ratio but one day I tried only liking a bunch of pictures a day and it gave me like 150 followers only

I found that 4k is my sweet spot. If you are posting quality content and making sure you try following people interested in a particular niche that will help your engagement.
