For once, I fully agree with the title. I had never trusted my school text books, because they were written by untrusted people, and didnt trusted, especially, those mathematics books... They not only cost what they don't deserve, they cause intense PITA too.

No, not really you're not. Before you buy a service, you already have a pretty good idea of the kind of value the service will provide - ergo you already have the necessary knowledge to handle that service. The only things left would be the intimate nitty gritty details which can easily be filled. You already come with the bulk of the necessary knowledge. This is the same way buying SEO tools works.

People who straight up buy ebooks that teach them how to make money are being suckered.

I already said I'm fine with tools. It takes considerable effort and $money$ to make those potions. Therefore it's okay to charge money to recuperate the price of manufacturing them. It's NOT okay to sell knowledge of how to make those potions, which he does not. Trebor is a stand up guy and very much old school in his approach. He doesn't even put ads on his videos, that's how much he sticks by the principles (yt sometimes adds them due to the music though, ugh).

That aside, being brought up in the anarchist hacker communities when I was younger, I can wholeheartedly agree with the title of this thread. Anti-IP/Anti-Closed Source beliefs were ingrained into me early in life. Knowledge is power and treated as a currency, but can only buy respect, be gifted or traded for other knowledge.

I'll tell you how I really feel, since I don't think I got my message across quite clearly.

There is no relationship that is more pure and loving than that between a master and his/her student. It's similar to the one between a parent and a child except now we aren't just talking about how to survive life on earth. We are talking about the grand destiny of the soul. Ascension both for good and bad. Anyone that introduces money into that falls under two categories automatically:

1. Weak - because they are unable to provide for themselves without leeching off their students, therefore they have no power. Money manifestation is trivial.
2. A liar - they have no first hand experience in magick and are trying to make a quick buck.

It's an absolute defilement. In fact if I had my way I'd make it completely illegal to sell any esoteric knowledge worldwide to get rid of the trash hovering around our community.
