Can anyone recommend an alternative to google analytics?

Can you recommend google analytics alternative for my site?
Need a way to see my website traffic stats LOL
Also recommend any other plugins you believe is necessary for a niche site.
I promoting clickbank if that makes a difference.

I use Piwik, it's a good, open source alternative. Might not have ALL the bells and whistles but does the job pretty well in my opinion. I guess it will depend on your usage, but give it a try. (note: Piwik is self hosted so you'll need to install and maintain it on your server).

I recommend StatCounter. I've been using it for years and prefer it to Analytics. I made a tutorial on how to set it up and install it (very easy). Check it out:

I would recommend Kissmetrics. I use it combined with the data of my Live Chat provider, Visitlead. The interesting events gets forwarded automatically to it so it's great for creating good leads. https://visitlead.com/plugins/analytics-kissmetrics/

I use heatmap tracker, provides basic analytics but gives great information on what users are actually doing on my sites. Records user sessions so I can play it back and see where people click and how they interact with the site. Great for split testing

But I signed up to this new tool named Kilometer. Kilometer.io is a promising event-based analytics tool for startups
