I primarily use PBNs like most of the seo big boys. However, I'm analyzing some niches where the comp is all assumibly GSA blasted sites with 16,000 homepage links all from shitty websites.

In this scenario how do you accurately quantify/guesstimate the competition? It's not as if I can reverse engineer it like real websites because there is just so much crap links here.

I'm also wondering how you compare something like this to PBNs? I mean how would you know how many "good links" it takes to compete with 16,000 "shit links"?

Quality links can pass GSA spam sites. If you look at some PPD niches you will see websites using PBNs outranking spam sites.

I dont know how you can guesstimate how hard it will be to pass the site but it is possible.

I know but I am asking how you quantify/guesstimate competition. Since PA/DA are now entirely useless metrics in this scenario, PR doesn't exist anymore, and individual link analysis is impossible -- where does that leave you?

With this kind of thing you can't tell if you'd need 3 pbn links or 30

Its really no way to tell, you just have to keep building links till you pass them.
