Expired domains in foreign language

I stay away from chinese,russian and arabic language sites, but what about european languages (french, german, italian)?My money site is in english. So my question, any penalization/less link juice etc from linking from foreign language sites?

Edit: The backlinks of the expired domains are in foreign language. The old site that was on the expired domain was in foreign language, the new site i will be making will be in english. Hope that's not very confusing

doing this a few times is ok, but dont do it too much.
maybe 10% of your backlink profile can be foreign but not more than that.

There's nothing wrong with that, but keep it minimal and make sure the domain name doesn't scream "foreign language".

I have done it, but here is what I do, I go to Internet Archive: Wayback Machine and I try to re construct as much as I can from the old domain (copying and pasting the html), and after that I add parragraphs in the language I want to rank for, with the content related to the keywords I want to rank for and I put it with "" so it seems like a quote from another source, I have never had a problem.

I don't really plan to restore the old site because i want to make contextual posts and only thru a CMS like wordpress i can do that (as far as i know). I never understood why people want to restore the old website since you can't make contextual posts that give more link power. Any idea why?

And what i'm interested is, if the backlinks of the expired domain that came from foreign language sites (since the site of the expired domain was in foreign language so it's normal to have foreign language backlinks too) will affect in any way the link juice that will pass to my money site. What do you think?

People said its ok to use some expired domains in foreign language but i have like 70% foreign language 30% english (i find a lot more of high metrics expired domains in italian for example vs in english because ~80% of english domains are spammed by chinese or already registered). What do you think, will i get more link juice or i will rank better with expired domains from english sites or it's no difference?

If the backlinks are really good and strong, you can just build a new site in English in the same niche/vertical. Usually they go very well.

Why can't you make contextual posts with the old html?
What are contextual posts by your definition?

The language has nothing to do with the amount of link juice that gets passed. Will be the same as any other site. You're good on that front.

Just have to be careful of relevance and also it can be tough to make sure the domain hasn't been spammed to hell unless you can get a decent translation. And yeah - you can definitely restore the site and add in contextual links.
