Hi everyone. I have a niche website, and requested adsense a few days ago(4 days). I got the code they gave me and inserted it in my adsense wp plugin, and waited for the code to get indexed (they reckon it should happen within 48 hours). For some reason it seems this never happened. Can anyone tell me what to do here? I have attached a screenshot of my adsense dashboard and my source code.

May be ads not available for your area, Try to check with different IP that ads are displaying? but sometimes it takes more than 48 hours to appear ads for some niche.
I've not tried different ip's yet, but I'm in the uk, and I wouldn't think my location would give any problems. As you can see in the screenshot of my adsense dashboard there is no little v for the second step. It has been 4 days now, so we're past the 48 hour limit.

Use Quick Adsense Plugin mate its free, Nothing else needed.

I have just switched to Quick Adsense, although I was using another plugin already. I don't see why this would make a difference, but thanks for your response.

Well what I have seen is the fact that you need some amount of content where you place those ads. I have faced this before. Try placing the ad somewhere you have content.

My home page has around 900 words quality content, and I have around 10 500 word blog posts.

Did you place the ad on the header before the content starts?

It says what I faced too.. Let me quote it..

There may not be enough information on your site for our crawlers to determine the content of your pages. Therefore, we could be having difficulty identifying relevant ads to show on your pages. Please note that our crawlers are unable to derive meaning from:

* audio and video files (.wma, .mpeg, .mov)
* mp3 files (.mp3)
* images (.jpeg, .bmp)
* Macromedia Flash movies
* Java Applets

In such cases, we recommend that you include more content other than the above files on your website to assist our crawlers in gathering information about your site to display relevant ads.

None of the things mentioned apply to me, really..

Your account hasn't fully approved yet, you need to pass the second review first before your ads appear

Yes, exactly. And I've now waited 4 days, but they still haven't reviewed me.

You account is not fully approved mate, Its quite obvious that you won't see ads running just yet...

Just wait for their response and don't remove the code... Just let it be as it is.
