[Q] How do you download images in DMs?

Sometimes I get DMs from people asking for shoutouts, but I'm confused as I don't know how to download their picture. Is there any trick or something I'm missing? How do people get pictures out of DMs?

I do screenshot.. But theres apps where you can save it.

What do you mean by screenshots? How do you make a screenshot? Wouldn't it include the rest of the DM? And would it reduce the quality?

No when uploading the image ti IG you will crop it where the photo is. Just try it, you will see.

I just screenshot/crop. When I screenshot on android the crop button comes up instantly so it's really easy.

Their is an app called Instagrab for getting even videos sent through dm or pics
