It depends. If you're Kim Kardashian, apparently all you need is to duck face and post a picture of your ass.

If you're some unknown guy then you'll probably have to buy traffic to your social presence which IMO is a major waste of money.

Forgetttt about everything and buy a bot. (of course if you have money you don't care spending, buy shoutouts) but even if I had, I wouldn't. I'd buy Followliker. and do research here for some tips about it because on a fresh account I gain 2500 followers in 4 days.

The fastest way to gain real active followers is to use a bot, and start to use it. I like to follow my competitors followers, and scrape their likes and follow them. As long as your account is related to that account, and is a quality account, then you will gain quickly as long as you not in a bad niche.

no, the fastest way to get 1000 followers is to make your profile private and add the newest people on an insanely popular account (kyliejenner), they refresh every second and those people are guaranteed online. You'll get 10-15 follow back everytime you add 50. Unfollow those 50 in like 30 minutes and follow 50 more. not very time consuming if you just do it when ever you remember, takes 60 seconds. Gained 1500 followers in 5 days.

ok, i've done this on all my accounts and have also told mutiple friends of mine to do this tactic and none have gotten banned or blocked.

Doing this manually prevents you from repeatedly going past the limit. IG stops you when you cant follow anymore, thus you stop pushing the damn follow button. Bots will continue to try and follow, consequently creating a block on your account.
