Hi all,

Currently I made a website who isn't ranking as I hoped it would be.

The website contains 130+ articles, all 500-1300 words.
I want it to make an authority, so I read somewhere on this forum it have to look 'natural' so it cointans
easy, medium and difficult keywords to rank.

But at the moment, around 4 months online, the website only get somewhere around 5 visitors from Google.
The onpage seo is good, but i'm stuck on what to do next since this is my first 'project' ...

Some info about the site:

Majestic
Trustflow: 13
Citation flow: 32
(164 external backlinks, 55 domains, 49 Ip's. )

Ahrefs
Url rank 25
Domain rank 42
390 backlinks, 133 referring domains

Woorank : 55 (but only 1 backlink appear? some reason for that?)

WMT

Last 30 days:
impressions 49.291
clicks: 49 (any idea why this is so low?)

I track my ranking with serpbook, am ranking in top 20 for some low keywords as 70 searches per month, the bigger (1500+ searches) won't appear in top 30/40.

What's the next thing to do? I guess I had to see some more movement in ranks/visitors after 4 months didn't I?

Sorry for the language, thanks in advance!

No one any idea? Sorry for the hurry but i want to improve the website!:)

If your onsite is tight, and your hitting the keywords that you are aiming for start building links.

Did you upload those 130+ articles at once? And where did you get your articles? Are they spun? Original?

Watch your competitors.

See how many links they have, whats their metrics and compare with yours, formate articles based on top performing competitors. Just learn from your competitors. If you are a stater in SEO i advice you to show your website to a person who is good as SEO for better suggestions.

Any tips on what kind of links?

Not at once, every week/two weeks a couple articles online and that from the beginning of the site. The articles are all hand written and unique.

There's only one top competitor with a big authorithy website who gains easily 30.000 UV a day. Site metric's are great but i was thinking what if I only get 10% of what he's having, it would be great. And not every keyword is the same, however it is the same niche, it are different articles and keywords.

if your on-page SEO for those articles is done properly, then you should start building some quality backlinks to some of the keywords you want to rank. The easiest way is to buy services from BHW Marketplace. Try to build few web 2.0 properties, do some blog commenting on relevant websites with high PR and low OBL, drop your backlink on high PR article directories as well...but again, do not blast backlinks. just slowly build them every week.

Taking into account that your on page seo is already in check....
Are the quality of your backlinks decent?
You should get some more powerful links, and maybe some social signals as well.

Go with authority links dude. There are lot of providers giving authority service in BHW market place dude....:)

Create 100 meaningful articles. post backlink in social media platform minimum 2000 links. Everyday update your sites. I think, you may see improvement.

Thanks a lot guys! I will get some more high metrics links and put some more articles online! In the hope it will help when the website is around half a year old and get around 100 visitors a day at least?

Still a question guys.

Do you think, as long the site is covering enough keywords and not neccessarily long tail written, a site can still do well as long there is enough content and backlinks? I guess the keyword ranking is coming sooner or later or not?

The main object of your site is to gain visitors, repeat visitors from either PPC or SEO Organics. You want to target long tail keywords and some more harder to rank keywords. your main goal is traffic, so start focusing on how you can get traffic, and how to keep your visitors coming back.
