I already have my domain, and they seem to be marketing their hosting service free for an inflated domain registration fee, the idea being that they get their money on renewal. Tried to chat with their non-English speaking CSR, and was told to search for the answer on their website.

If this is true for you, I don't care as the site I am building will be very low traffic, low volume, nothing that would give the host service any trouble. Invisible.

Can I do anonymous payment? I want to pay a year in advance, and I want to make certain no one but law enforcement can find out who purchased the website hosting service. FYI, IMO using Gift Cards (particularly Wal-Mart gift cards) is an untapped potential for future sales, as they can be done simply, easily and completely anonymously.

Failing that, any recommendations on BitCoin exchange? And how much of my money am I going to lose when making the conversion from USD to BitCoin?

If so, then avoiding "crap" hosts will be all you need and to ensure you double-check their privacy policy. Many of the large (EIG like) hosts may sell your information to make extra money, so I would avoid them like the plague not to mention usually pretty lackluster performance.

As to bitcoins, are you looking to buy them or sell them? If selling, a lot of hosts accept bitcoins now too.

My biggest concern is that (lets call it) "political" pressure (not legal, or law enforcement pressure) may cause the host company to drop me the client and the site I'm running. I need to know that the hosting service I choose is "bulletproof".

I'd rather not blab the purpose of the site openly. If a web hosting service provider wants to know, they can send me their Skype ID and I'll tell them directly that way.

Sorry but the whole phrasing of your offer and seeming lack of understanding of what I'm about and what I'm looking for indicates to me that you're not the provider I'm looking for. Pretty sure that I never once mentioned that I was looking for a "g00d" deal, so you get a minus 3 for listening to the customer and responding to their needs.
