Using Copyright Materials (without Monetizing) to increase Views

I was literally gonna post this thread too.
Will YouTube shut you down for only uploading copyrighted content and not running adsense? Some gets blocked and some get third-partied but still stay up. Is this okay or is it only a matter of time before it gets shut down?

If you post copyrighted work it could be flagged and pulled instantly, 3rd party claimed, or it could go forever unnoticed. Unfortunately, there's no way to know which is going to happen.
If you don't own the copyright and post it, you are violating the rules. While you may get away with it for a while, I don't think it's worth the risk of losing everything.

i saw another thread like this after starting this thread but there were no replies. he had mentioned about movie trailers. i think movie trailers have less potential to be claimed for copyright. so it will not be claimed for copyright although third party content matched. but there is risk for copyright claims.

In one of my videos, I talk about and make references to a trailer that plays throughout. It's cropped to less than a quarter of the screen and all of the audio is created by me - absolutely none from the original trailer. Within 2 hours of posting it was flagged for 3rd party.
They generally don't flag trailers for copyright since any publicity is good publicity, but they will certainly flag it for 3rd party and any ad revenue from it will go to them, not you.

thank you for the information. my only expectation is to increase views to related monetized videos of mine. . not to monetize copyrighted videos. will it work?
