[Help] Amazon seller needs help in a few things

Hello everyone, I hope someone could help me solving a few problems about Amazon as a seller. I wanted to be an Amazon seller and I already listed my listings but not yet post it on Amazon. There are a few things that bugs me. All my items are from dropshippers in alibaba or aliexpress. This will cause me to save my time for shipping the item myself and I hate selling my own things.

Here is my questions:

1). Is it normal for for amazon buyers to wait until 1 month for items to be received?
2). I read somewhere before that amazon won't allow other packaging other than theirs. Does that mean that I have to post the item to amazon first?
3). How do you handle return item?

You never know what you'll get, and you never know when you'll get it, if you ever do
Sure you'll get amazing things for $0.000001 but it's really not worth the account getting banned for it, you have to think long term

Meaning:

2- There is a difference between "Sold by Amazon", "Fulfilled By Amazon", and "Merchant Fulfilled"
The first comes in Amazon's box, the second in whatever box you first sent the item into, and the last comes in whatever box makes you feel comfortable
3- It's hella expensive to ship back to China.. You could have the customer ship the item back to you though

Thanks for answering my questions. I have no problem with my ebay account because I never used it . My account got banned after my first listing and I dont know how to get it back. I read a few methods here and the solution is to call ebay. I dont live in the US so I think the call will cost a lot.

I didn't realize that dropshipping from china is that terrible because I know a few people make decent amount of money by dropshipping. Maybe selling my own items would be nice.

They dropship directly from China ? They surely have good rapport with the dropshipper then
You could call eBay via Skype, you should be able to land a US phone number there

I am not sure if they dropship directly from china or not. I never asked. These kind of people are not the type that wanna share information. It is understandable because maybe it is their goldmine after all. I am from Malaysia

I don't want to discourage you, but you need to do a lot of reading on how to keep your Amazon account in good standing before you continue.

Maybe you are right. I am good with ebay because I helped my friend sell things there. Amazon is a new thing. The reason I choose amazon is because I want to target US traffic

Under no circumstances is drop shipping from China a good idea.

And, if a customer waited more than 3 or 4 days for the delivery, they'd either be calling or cancelling the order. 30 days is just way off this planet - somewhere out in the stratosphere.

The best way to start small on Amazon is to Fedex mini lots direct to FBA, and get some sales happening. FBA handles shipping, returns and customer service too - taking care of your other two questions.

You need to read up on how FBA works before you send in any product to Amazon. You need to have the product prepared before you send the product in.

YES i agree you cant risk your account by shipping from china.

I dropship from China into Australia on eBay and don't have an issue. Hopefully I don't jinx myself by saying that. I find that as long you have the item location set to China and your shipping method states that it'll take 20 days or more, it's fine. People can't really complain about it if the information was in their face while purchasing the item.
As for Amazon, most people who shop there want their item quickly. Within a couple of days really, so dropshipping from China might be hard. You can always list things from retailers with a little profit on top within the USA, but make sure that you can buy the item because some US online stores only accept US PayPal Accounts and Credit Cards.
