I wish that remained "free plans" only. I do not have shortage of money but i am not going to let them choose whom I pay for.

So if your already paying for an internet plan why are you so worried about the Airtel Zero which won't affect you? It costs money to run an ISP, and if there is going to be a free plan then there is going to have to be a way to recoup the costs.

I am not worried about them. In fact, i hate airtel because they have always tried to be sneaky ( pay extra for voip minutes? Fuck you!). I am worried about this being a standard. I am already paying them for the bandwidth. Why don't they get life?

They aren't making people pay extra for VOIP they were going to but decided to cancel their plans in Dec of last year. Paid plans are not affected at all, this is only for free plans.

Airtel zero is for people that didn't have the ability to spend money on an internet plan and want some basic usage.

Zero money for 200 websites and services is better than Zero money and get nothing.

Its not going to get worst and its not the beginning of anything other than increased quality.
So why not just start a new better telecom, it shouldn't be that hard to find some people to build one.
