Hi Guys,

Just wondering what people's experience of this tool is - I have just playing around with the Super Adsense theme for wordpress and am wondering if it will turn more profitable to put these affiliate links where the adsense normally goes. (Since this template is optimised for adsense, it has potential).

Anyway, I guess I'll have to test it (and will let you know how I get on). Before I do so, just wondering if anyone has had any sales from this?

if you have related site with the product, cb will make you more money. The worst EPC that i get from CB is 0.12 it's a lot better than 0.05 from Adsense.

Sure, the site is related. In fact, it's likely to be very targetted - the site is designed around a niche for people looking for such products and initially was just going to have adsense there. This might make more sense however.

One small problem - Clickbank rotates the items within those ads. Which is OK except for the amazing number of products it carries that DON'T pay commission. Yes, you did read that right.

Go do a search on your keyword on the marketplace in Clickbank and see how many products have a zero commission. For some reason there's a crown of numbnuts who just use Clickbank to collect money for them (I guess they don't trust PayPal ) Those people don't pay commission but their products are still served up in your HopAds. So, you get to advertise them for free.

Oh, and check out the fact that quite a few people also set up their product as a CB product and then change the sales page so that they only pay their own directly recruited affiliates...

The best thing to do is select the CB products you want to display and set up your own adsense type links.

Well Philthebear has a point there but my personal experience is that i put the hopad where i had another PPC, and so far in one week have had 2 sales from the hopad. Still testing anyway. Cheers

If your HopAd is showing multiple links it should still do reasonably well. Basically if you are serving up 3 links (which vary on every view) there's a good chance you'll make sales. However, there's a percentage chance that you are referring people to sites where you don't get commission.

Check out the marketplace for your keywords and see how many don't pay commission. Let's say there are 9 products and 3 don't pay. That means that your '2' sales could have been 3. So, although 2 is good - 3 would have been better.
