So it's about time that I gave an honest review of the service I have received from EpicWrite.com so that others can hopefully be guided as to whether it meets their needs.
Firstly, I should say that I have sampled around 50 articles at the basic price point and 3 much longer ones at the professional level. I'll talk about them separately.
Basic (lowest price): the quality of these articles is surprisingly good given the price and they compare very favourably against other writers and services I have tried. I certainly can't fault them on that front. The turnaround time is simply atrocious though - I have waited as long as 20 days for a relatively small batch of 15 articles on a fairly easy topic to write about.
Professional (highest price): each of the 3 articles I have received required additional work to make them suitable for a money site. The most recent of these is going to take me at least 3 hours to get up to the standard I want. They don't always follow instructions - I spelled out exactly what I wanted from this latest article and yet they have overlooked entire sections I asked for. The turnaround on these is not much better. I am also not convinced that they are written by a native English speaker despite this being claimed.
Overall then I am not sure whether or not I will order many more articles from EpicWrite.com - I might use them for basic articles that I can plan for well in advance (to take their severe lack of speed into account), but I definitely will not be ordering any more professional level articles from them because, while still cheap, I do not consider them to be up to the standard required by users and search engines these days.
