Suggestions required to boost Twitter followers and conversion

Dear Friends,

I have recently started working on one of my client's Twitter account. I have implement everything like cover photo, logo etc and also posting regular twitts using meaningful hashtags. But I am not receiving any good response and no improvement in increasing the followers in that account.

Can you suggest some ideas on Twitter marketing and how to increase followers. Tell me organic ideas only, I am not interested in buying 10k followers stuff. By the way, I can also think about paid Twitter marketing.

Follow trends. A few days ago (and some now) their was a trend of posting:

"When bae thinks you're actually out with just the guys" (fill the remaining 140 chars with that smiley).

Obviously you can change that text, but if you follow some posting trends that should help. You can also make posts mentioning bigger accounts and some may retweet you.

Forget paid twitter advertisements. Does your client mind if their account started following people? If they do find a big authoritative account in their niche and follow their followers

I need to consult my client as this is going to be a big Healthcare E-commerce platform in my country. So, following others might be a question of reputation. And for me, I am too looking for organic leads or followers without opting for Paid twitter advertisements. I am using trendy Hashtags but it doesn't help much. Do you have any idea what big companies twitter accounts do apart from paid advertisements?
