Here is how to do this without G-Alerts:

1: Open up a browser, go to the G homepage and type in the keyword you want to check for updates
2: Click on "Search Tools"
3: Filter to "Last 24 Hours" instead of "Any Time"
4: To get up to the minute results, filter to "Date" instead of "Relevance"

You will then have every page with that keyword that has been posted in the last 24 hours. If your keyword is more than one word, search for it in quotes.

To search for the keyword on facebook without Buzzbundle:

1: Open up a browser and type in the keyword like this - "my keyword" site:facebook.com
2: Click on "Search Tools"
3: Filter to "Last 24 Hours" instead of "Any Time"
4: To get up to the minute results, filter to "Date" instead of "Relevance"

Honestly, this is so simple. Once you have checked all the web results, go to the news tab and rinse/repeat. I still do this every morning and post hundreds of copy/paste links to my sites - it takes no time at all and will get a minimum of 500 visits a day if you do it correctly.

If you spend 5-6 hours doing it daily, searching as many keywords in your niche as possible, you will easily get 1k visits a day after 3-4 weeks of doing it.

This is a late reply, but honestly, when I read this - I got goosebumps. I have a moderately successful product review site that is earning 2 to 3k per month and this seems a fantastic way to get more traffic to the offer. I have another site that ive built that has close to a dozen reviews on it and ive not done much other than add new content. Well, this is a great way to push traffic.

I posted 40 comments so far today. Gonna cut it short. I think i need more keywords. Im currently promoting 3 products im thinking bout going to 6 tomorrow. Is there a good keyword suggestion tool? Google one I dont understand how it works since it changed. So far the traffic is slowly going up. I really believe once i get this in motion 1k visitors is possible.

So if anyone knows a great keyword suggestion tool please let me know.

How long did it take you to post 40 comments? Do you read an article/blog post before posting anything to make your comment look natural and value giving or you just copy/paste them?

40 comments took me bout 2 hours. Mainly because its so much crap that has nothing to do with my niche on google search. I read each artcle...well i scanned them. I made my comments very thought out and so far most of them made it pass the mods.

You will get quicker. It took me awhile to get going but I can easily drop more than 200 comments / links in 2 hours

Every comment you make, copy and paste it into a notepad file, you will soon find similar articles to paste that comment on in the following days. My notepad files all have around 20-30 comments I have made which fit other articles just by changing a word or two.

Whenever I have spent 3-4 hours doing this method, it would not be uncommon to find I have dropped in the region of 500 comments/links, of which the vast majority stick.

Holy shit! I've seen this thread pop up on the homepage several times and never bothered with it - with the title I must have assumed that it was some teespring bullshit or the like. Anyhow, quite the method. I've done it on a very limited basis on top top blogs and posted 400 - 500 word comments (very heavily moderated) but this has lit a fire up my ass to do more.

My question - and yes I've read the entire thread - has anyone seen any negative consequences to SEO? I assume no because it appears that most post on top end moderated blogs, forums, etc and varying up anchor text. Note: this question has been asked but never really answered - at least in the post panda/penguin era. The typical answer has been to "read the thread" which I have.

How are you able to go through that many pages that fast? Its times when i go to sites and some you cant comment on. There are times when most of the webpages for the 24 hours for my keyword is fluff. Also do you know a good keyword tool?

You don't need a keyword tool to search google for results within your niche, just an imagination.

The disqus is really getting on my nerves. I'm considering to buy a vpn, but not sure how effective that would be.

Im doing this but im only getting say 1 result from news lol. As far as my niche...can I just have you look at my site and tell me if its any good? Im new to all this.

If you aren't getting enough results then it must be the keywords you are searching. Try and think of alternatives.

If, as in freddys example you are in the weight loss niche then simply search lose weight. If you are being too specific and searching for "how can I lose 3 stone in 2 months" then your results will be very limited.

If you are searching a generic term but still not getting the results then maybe the niche is not popular enough for this method.

All my keywords are one word only, there's about 6 or 7 and seriously, I don't think I could comment on all the results even if I sat and tried to do it for 24 hours straight.

I made a new account and as recommended on here, my username was my website address and when I commented, I made sure not to put any link in the message. My account was fine but brought very very little traffic. I then made the mistake of copy pasting messages I normally use on facebook and I forgot to remove the link. I didn't get banned for almost a week and saw plenty of traffic then the ban hammer came down again.

Thank you! I was worried that there's something I'm not doing right. Turns out I'm not alone. Just to add, even with no links in the comments and the domain name as the username, disqus are catching on. One of my accounts with domain as username without links in the comments was put into pending mode. It's getting ridiculous.

I'm considering some solutions put forward:

1) buying cheap .info, .biz, .me and other low end tlds to redirect to the money site
2) using a vpn to change IP every 10 mins or so.

I'm considering the 2nd option since the first on is quite the hassle. So 10 diff disqus accounts with vpn.

Or I can just scrap disqus altogether and go to forums. decisions, decisions..
